Mother Goose Visits North Winners
Students in Pre-school through Second Grade were visited by the legendary Mother Goose on March 31. Mother brought many fun games, fingerplays, props and costumes for the pre-school through second graders to try. Her message combines the importance of the Golden Rule with age-old nursery rhymes.
Ms. Goose, a.k.a. Faith Humphrey, was visiting her cousin Gwen Jorgenson, a teacher aide at North Winneshiek. She has recently begun her business Meet Mother Goose. Aimed at beginning readers, Ms. Goose's program combines fun and learning.
